30a faves

From watercolor you will reach seaside, which is my favorite place on earth. The architecture is famous and the vibe is decidedly preppy, relaxed and fun. When you get to seaside you can park your car, slip on your flip flops and relax for the week. There’s no need to leave. Everything is at your fingertips and in style. You have wonderful dining options, chic shopping and lively entertainment. Or you can just relax and recharge. Even in January, the sun is shining and the dolphins are more lively than ever, and a few days here will leave you feeling rejuvenated. Summer is the pinnacle of the seaside experience. The weather is sultry, the ocean has heated to a tolerable temperature and the feeling of sand under my feet is heaven.

Beaches

The 30 a in north florida is the hottest vacation spot for people in my area. The draw is obvious, the drive is manageable in one day, the area is family friendly and the weather is great. The 30a is less developed and therefore, more lovely than other areas on the coast. You can enjoy the beach and the nature that surrounds it. biking on paths though the marshes is a fantastic way to get around and you can enjoy the amazing natural beauty of the area.

There are many towns as you travel down the country highway. You begin with grayton beach, which is a laid back beach town that has kept its relaxed attitude. Then you will find watercolor, which is a town of a resort and the beautiful homes surrounding it. you will find some great shopping here and several dining options. Tucked behind watercolor, there is your grocery store, a great pizza place and your pure barre fix.

Beyond seaside, you will travel through seagrove and seacrest, both with unique dining. After that, you will head to aly’s beach. with its cool architecture and dining options, aly’s is one of my faves. be sure to check their calendar at www.alysbeach.com and visit for the spring concert series or cinema under the stars on the lawn. Beyond aly’s is rosemary beach, which is a large and lovely family friendly village. There are plenty of yummy dining options here and a bunch of cool shopping destinations. This is the perfect place to spend an afternoon of lunch and shopping with girlfriends.

The 30a can be a very chic family week. There are so many places that welcome families, offer cool settings, and innovative cuisine. You can also find great shopping that is very accessible and in a relaxed environment. There are always a ton of events to take part in or concerts and movies under the stars. Here’s hoping you have a fabulous spring break!
